Joan Curry, 77, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 2, 2020. She was born on February 13,1943, in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was a caregiver and homemaker. Joan cherished and loved all children, especially her grandbabies. She also enjoyed paper dolls, puzzles, and watching the Game Show Network, especially The Chase, with her family. Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished by her loved ones.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Curry; parents, Guy Chowning and Edith Bailey; brother, Guy Herbert; and grandson, Joshua Curry.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Chowning; daughters, Vickie Curry (John), Ann Curry Cato (Jeff) and Sheri Curry; sister, Sherry Allen (Steve); grandchildren, Amber Curry, Ally Stewart, Chattin Cato, Curry Cato (Baileigh), Harrison Cato, and Heather Cato; and great grandchildren, Jer' Vaeh Craig, and Ka' Dynce Urquhart.
