Jimmy Lee Elms, 67, of Batesville passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 in Batesville. He was born July 9, 1946 at Batesville to Wilburn Doris Elms and Zada Qualls Elms. He served in the Army and was a police officer. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Diane Elms and one brother, Danny Ray Elms. Survivors include two sons, Bradley John Elms of Seattle, WA and Matthew Elms of Madison, WI; one brother Doug Elms of Batesville; two sisters, Dian Nichols of Mt. View and Sharon Smart of Batesville; two grandchildren, Zada Elms and Simone Elms Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Lee's Chapel Cemetery on Hwy. 25 Visitation is Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
