Jima Lee Melton Stephenson, 84, of Batesville, passed away, Monday, October 12, 2015 in Batesville. She was born September 29, 1931 in Cushman, Arkansas. She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepard. Survivors include a son, Kenneth E. Stephenson and his wife Shelley of Horseshoe Bend; two sisters, Vida Saline of Safford, Arizona and Shirley Dorhoufer, of Tuscan, Arizona ; one brother, Coy Melton of Batesville; five grandchildren, Lance Stephenson and Callee Stephenson, both of Horseshoe Bend; Brittany Laughlin of Laughlin, Nevada; Brook Alexander of Picuyune, Mississippi, and Angus Alexander of Batesville. She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Euvon Bond Stephenson; two brothers, Jack Melton and Ray; and a sister, Hazel Barksdale. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 16, 2015 at Oaklawn Cemetery with Pastor Joel Krogen officiating.
