Jim Philips, 65, of Salado, AR, passed from this life on February 17, 2023, in a Batesville hospital. He was born in Greenville, Texas, on February 24, 1957, to Harvey and Julia Philips. Jim was a member of the Southside Church of Christ and was a military veteran.

Survivors include parents, Harvey Dalton Philips and Julia Smoot Philips of Salado, AR; brother, Chip Philips (Rita) of Jamestown, AR; sister, Jean Anne Martin (Jimmy) of Gosnell, AR; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joel Philips.

Jim will be cremated, and there will be a graveside memorial service at Egner Cemetery at a later date.
