Jesse Lester Roy Jr., 49, passed away on June 30, 2023, in Batesville, AR. He was born on March 23, 1974, in Batesville, AR. Jessie was a Firefighter at Cushman Volunteer Fire Department, and he was always helping others. He was the happiest when he was outdoors in God's Country. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Above all else, he loved spending time with his friends and family.

Jesse is survived by his aunt, Linda Thompson of Batesville, AR; cousins, Tammie Murphree of Newark, AR; Tim Thompson (Ronda) of Batesville, AR; Gunnar Murphree of Newark, AR; Tuff Murphree of Newark, AR; Laney Thompson of Batesville, AR; and Logan Thompson of Batesville, AR; The Cushman Volunteer Fire Department; and a host of other friends and family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester Roy and Altha May Roy of Thayer, MO; father, Jessie (J.L.) Roy SR of Batesville, AR; and uncles, Dallas Gene Roy and Denver Thomas Roy both of Little Rock, AR.
