Jesse "Ray" Johnson, 87, passed away October 11, 2016. He was born February 23, 1929 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Jesse and Minnie Johnson. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Masonic Grand Lodge, he liked being outdoors, he enjoyed telling stories. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Minnie Johnson; his wife Margie Rogers Johnson; and three brothers. He is survived by five sons: Mario Dakota Johnson, Kelvin Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, David Johnson, and Michael Johnson; two daughters Karen Cuevas Johnson and Carol Wright; one brother Sonny Johnson; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, October 14th from 5-7 PM and the funeral service will be Saturday, October 15th at 2 PM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Kenny Crafton officiating. Interment will follow at the Sulphur Rock Cemetery.
