Jerry Curtis Scott, 70, of Batesville passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 in Batesville. He was born April 4, 1944 in Searcy to C.C. Scott and Kucuita Wright Scott. He was journeyman lineman with AP&L now Entergy and loved his time with family and friends. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and being outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Scott of the home; his daughter, Leasha Lynn Rice of Sherwood; eight cousins, Randy Scott of Paragould, Rhonda Shannon of Jonesboro, Kay Farley of Maryland, Vicki Wright of CO, Teresa Long, Lorraine McMillon, Joe Womack, and Tommy Scott all of Arkansas and many other cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jimmy Don Scott and his daughter, Michelle Scott. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will be in the Egner Cemetery at Salado. Pallbearers are Steve Riley, Robbi Francis, Teddy Jackson, Charles Kibbe and Rick Hambrick.
