Jay Edward Meyer, 59, of Batesville, AR, passed away at 3 AM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at White River Medical Center. Jay was born In Roswell, NM, on January 4, 1962, to the late Keith Herbert Meyer and Mary Olson Meyer.

Married once in life to Pamela Bryggare (Meyer, Whitehead) Jay was a hard working father at numerous jobs throughout his life. He lived for his family and his grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He graduated from Ranchero High School in Las Vegas, NV.

Survivors include 2 brothers, Clifford W. Meyer of Batesville and Kevin (Sandra) Meyer of Clinton, NC; 5 children:  Preston (Angelia) Meyer of Batesville, Christopher Meyer of Batesville, Jason (Amber) Meyer of Batesville, David Meyer of Batesville, and Melony Mohlke of Batesville; 12 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jay is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Roxanne Meyer; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 12 PM until 2 PM followed by a funeral service at 2 PM, both at Willis Funeral Service's Chapel.
