Janis Gail Bales, 81, passed away on November 16, 2023, in Batesville, AR. She was born on August 21, 1942, in Cushman, AR to the late Howard Vickery and Anna (Arnold) Vickery. Janis enjoyed reading, shopping, and going on trips. She also enjoyed attending church at Rejoice Fellowship. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.

Janis is survived by her son, Robert Bales (Donna); daughters, Debbie Frisbee (Anthony), Tammy Reynolds (Richard), and Lorie Pinckard (Ed); grandchildren, Matthew Keller, Adam Reynolds (Blair), Melanie Clark (David), Sarah Frisbee, Stacy Davis (Johnathan), and Makayla Bales; great-grandchildren, Presley Clark and Cain Reynolds; brother, Eddie Tate; and sisters, Carolyn Fields and Veda White. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Bales; brother, Winford Vickery; and sister, Shirley Flynn.

There will be a Visitation at Willis Funeral Service Chapel on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 6 PM to 8 PM. The Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Limbaugh, will be held at Willis Funeral Service Chapel on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, starting at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Egner Cemetery in Salado, AR. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Adam Reynolds, Matthew Keller, Nathan Tharp, David Clark, Richard Reynolds, and Ed Pinckard.
