Janice Ruth Brackensick, 66, passed away July 31, 2016. She was of the Baptist faith. She spent most of her years in California and was an active volunteer for community activities, she loved gardening and yard work, she was a mother and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude Sparks and Gladys (Davis) Sparks and one sister Claudette Hillmon. She is survived by her husband Paul "Buddy" Brackensick, a son Robert Lee McCabe Jr. and his wife Carmilla; three sisters: Margaret Bueng, Shirley Hug, and Jean Rouse; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
