Janet Louise Stoner, 61, passed away on August 14, 2023. She was born in Dermott, Arkansas, on February 10, 1962, to Commodore and Juanita Sloan.

Janet enjoyed knitting, singing, and arts and crafts. She also enjoyed watching different game shows on TV or playing games on her phone. But most of all, she loved being with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Janet was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished by those who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Commodore Sloan Sr. and Juanita (Varnell) Sloan, and sister, Linda Gail Rainwater. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Dickerson of Cord, Arkansas and Brooke Stoner of Cord, Arkansas; brother, Commodore E. Sloan Jr. of Du Quoin, Illinois; sister, Tommie Sue Hill of Monticello, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kristin Dickerson, Natalie Dickerson, and Jason DeWayne Jr.; special daughters, Nikita Richardson and Kayleeann Holland; and special friends, Manuel and Margaret Alonzo.
