James Junior King, 92, passed away on October 31, 2023, in Salado, AR. He was born on September 10, 1931, in Newport, AR to the late William Edgar King and Lorene (Honey) King. James enjoyed fishing, raising a garden, and collecting antiques, especially oil lamps. He also loved to play bluegrass music in Mountain View. Above all else, James loved spending time with his family.

James is survived by his sons, James Edwin King (Linda), Quinton King (Misty), and Boyce King (Joyce); daughter, Charlotte Anderson (Keith); grandchildren, Trasie Cervantes (Jaime), Phillip Spencer, Rian King, Drew Anderson, and Amber Anderson; great-grandchildren, Tori Bales, Maria Cervantes, Katelynn Eddington, Haven Jones, and Clay Holt; and great-great-grandchildren, Cameron Massey and Clayton James Keller. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eva Louise King; son, Donnie King; grandson, James Clayton King; sisters, Valma McKay and Thelma Best; and brothers, Wallace King and Claude King.

There will be a Visitation at Johnstown Memorial Gardens on Saturday, November 4, 2023, starting at 12:30 PM. The Graveside Service will follow at 1 PM. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Quinton King, Buddy King, Phillip Spencer, Jaime Cervantes, Phil Jeffrey, and Maria Cervantes.
