James (Jim) Allen Hipp of Mobile, AL, 63, died unexpectedly, Thursday, May 11, 2017. He was born October 7, 1953 to Max & Flora Mae Hipp, and a 1971 graduate of Triad High School in Troy, Illinois. He was currently pursuing a Master's degree in Family Life Counseling from Liberty University and had devoted his life to helping others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Flora Mae Hipp of Pleasant Plains, AR. Survivors include sons Andrew Hipp of Mobile and Tyler Hipp of Little Rock, AR. Survivors also included his brothers; David (Carrie) Hipp of Cave City, AR, and Mitch (Denise) Hipp of Troy, IL. Visitation will be at Willis Funeral Service, in Batesville, AR, on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 10 till 11 am, with funeral services immediately following, and Eric Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Union Gove Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Andrew Hipp, Tyler Hipp, David Hipp, Mitch Hipp, Shea Sims, and Ben Stone. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Union Grove Cemetery.
