James Dean Harper, 63, passed away on October 26, 2023. He was born on January 24, 1960, in West Plains, Missouri, to David and Patricia Harper.

James was outgoing and had an easy-going personality, as he could get along with about anyone. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, or just drinking coffee and enjoying nature. He also liked working on small engines, cars, and woodworking. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David Harper and Patricia (Cochram) Harper; wife, Teresa Harper; and brothers, Davey Harper and Larry Harper. He is survived by his sons, David Harper (Sharmon) of Cord, Arkansas, James Harper (Rhonda) of Willow Springs, Missouri, and Michael Harper of Richmond, Kentucky; daughter, Jessica Harper of Cord, Arkansas; brothers, Larry Shaw (Jill) of West Plains, Missouri, and Mike Harper of Yucca Valley, California; sister, Sheri Harper of Washington state; and grandchildren, Madison Harper, Isabella Harper, Caleb Harper, Steven Harper, Audrey Milligan, and James Harper III.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
