James "Red" Doyle Apple, 62, of Batesville, AR passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in Batesville. He was born July 12, 1951, in McHue to Doyle Apple and Velma Long Apple. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include five sons, Jamie Apple, Scotty Apple, and Randy Apple all of Searcy and Ronnie Apple and Donnie Apple of Missouri; one daughter, Melissa Apple of Missouri; one niece, Lou Ann Kirk of Northwest Arkansas and one nephew, Dennie Apple of Southside. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donnie Apple. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Egner Cemetery in Salado with John High officiating.
