James Criswell, 71, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024, in Pleasant Grove, AR.  Mr. Criswell was born on May 11, 1953, in the community of Dugan, to the late Henry Criswell and Beulah Criswell. He really enjoyed fishing, hunting, and most of all watching westerns. Mr. Criswell was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed.

James Criswell is survived by his loving wife of forty-one years, Helen Page Criswell, and his lovely daughter Tina Criswell, his brother Glen Criswell, and his sister Malveen Brock.  James Criswell is preceded in death by both of his parents, 7 sisters, Wilma Stroud, Ruby Criswell Ebersol, Dorothy Criswell, Christine Criswell, Louise Halk Haney, Grace Wand, and Juanita Wand and 5 of his brothers, Tommy, Danny, Earl,  L.B., and Truman Criswell.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville AR. There will be a Graveside service held at Mount Joy Cemetery Highway 14  in Pleasant Grove, AR. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024,  at 10 A.M. The funeral service is officiated by Pastor Truman Bullard. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Corey Richie, Bill Richie, Glen Richie, Blane Richie, Steve Criswell, Lonnie Baker, and Jonathiane Richie.
