Helen L. West, 85, of Batesville passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Batesville. She was born August 24, 1929 in Sidney to Chester Westmoreland and Emma Cole Westmoreland. She worked in administration for General Electric, was a member of the West Baptist Church, enjoyed working at Help & Hope and was a very giving person. Survivors include her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John West; two brothers, Roy Westmoreland and Gene Westmoreland. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
