Helen (Marlar) Wade, 88, passed away Sunday, January 8th, 2017. She was born in Newark, Arkansas to Adler Sisk and Carrie (Henderson) Sisk. She was a member of the Newark Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents Adler and Carrie Sisk; her first husband Charles Marlar; her second husband Harry Wade; one daughter Marsha Hunter; one brother Julian Sisk; one great-granddaughter Britni Hunter; and one step-daughter Rosie Davis. She is survived by three daughters: Janet Hegland, Linne Marlar, Darla Rodriguez; five grandchildren: Robert Hunter, Jerae Blanton, Jessica Gonsales, Charles Hunter, and Laurie Turner; two step-children Danny Wade and Cindy Brown; four step-grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 21st at 2 PM at the Newark Church of Christ of Newark, Arkansas.
