Helen Lorene Porter, 87, passed on July 22, 2022. She was born on September 29, 1934, in Arizona to the late Matt Varner and Ruby (Lemay) Varner. Helen enjoyed painting. She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed attending church when she was able. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

Helen is survived by her son, Craig Porter (Carrie); daughters, Kim Long (Randy) and Cherie Smith (Shane); grandchildren, Jeremy Porter, Jakeb Howard, Lauren Porter, and Carver Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Porter SR; daughter, Dayna Porter; son, Don Porter JR; grandson, Brett Porter; and siblings, Geri Tyson, Conley Varner, and Bonnie Markham.
