Hattie Jewell Weaver, 85, died Monday, January 8, 2018 of natural causes, at Wood-Lawn Nursing Facility. She was born January 9, 1932, in the community of Parakeet, outside of Newark, AR, to James Alonzo McVay and Guffie Mae McVay. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother-JC McVay and grandson-Micah Weaver. She is survived by three sons; R.G. Weaver, Russell Weaver, Ricky Weaver (Nancy); five grandchildren- Holly Judd, Brent Weaver, Rusty Weaver, Jared Weaver, Mitchell Weaver and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Mc's Chapel Cemetery. Services were lead by her nephew, Gale Weaver.
