Harold Curtis Hughes, 80 of Sulphur Rock passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 in Sulphur Rock. He was born February 14, 1933 in Sulphur Rock to Henry Hughes and Ethel Young Hughes. He was a factory worker and a member of First Church in Batesville. He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Linda Bufford, Ruth Ann Hughes, and Della Mae Hughes. Survivors include his wife, Billie Hughes of the home; three stepsons, Billy Douglas and Raymond Douglas of Batesville, Thomas Douglas of Cabot; one daughter, Sharon Pillow of Paragould; one stepdaughter, Jeana Pearson of Batesville, two brothers, Donald Hughes and Kenneth Hughes of Sulphur Rock; two grandchildren, Eric Pillow and Krystal Leisure; nine step-grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Gaylon England officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. Honorary Pallbearers will be Darrell Crabtree, Randall Crabtree, Gary Horn, Archie Gibbs & Wayne Gibbs. Visitation is Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. until service time.
