Guy Ray Melton, 79, of Cushman passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 in Batesville. He was born September 30, 1934 in Anderson to Ray Melton and Dennie Glenn Melton. Guy worked in construction, trained coon hunting dogs, enjoyed treasure hunting and was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include three sons, Roger Melton of Cushman, Phillip Melton of Conway and Ronald Melton of Bryant; four grandchildren, Sara Julia Fuhrman of Minden, Germany, Dylan Melton of Commerce Township, MI, Madison Melton of Commerce Township, MI and Toby Melton of Coldwater, MS He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Geneva Melton; three sisters, Cuba Groceman, Euva Case and Glenna Melton and one brother, Noah Melton. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery with John High officiating. Visitation is Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
