Grace Ann Butler, 84 of Charlotte passed away Monday August 24, 2015 in Batesville. She was born September 21, 1930, to Malcom Hix Sr. and Elizzie Kelley Hix. She was a Christian and loved going to Philadelphia Baptist church, enjoyed baking cookies for her grandchildren and friends, and loved working in her beautiful flower garden, and making pretty quilts. Survivors include her son James Robert Butler II, of Charlotte, three daughters; Barbara Lewis, of Charlotte, Betty Taylor, of Batesville, Mary Butler, of Batesville, two brothers; Charlie Hix, of Batesville, Malcom Hix Jr., of Batesville, two grandchildren Johnny Butler, of Maple Springs, and Dohnny Holley, of Batesville, four great grandchildren; Whitley Jade Butler, of Batesville, Rachel Ann Butler, of Bethesda, Lacey Butler, and Kyleigh Pettie, of Maple Springs, one great-great grandson Jaydan Serrando, of Batesville. She is preceded in death by her parents, and grandson James Robert (Robbie) Butler III. Graveside services will be at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Gainesboro. Wednesday August 26, 2015 at 10:00 A.M., with Tracey Grissom officiating. Pallbearers; Josh Gates, Mickey Hix, Johnny Butler, Donny Thorne, Pete Hix, Dixon Moss, Daniel Aldrich, Clifford Wright. Honorary Pallbearers; Gerald Lewis, and Donnie Holly. In Lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to Oak Buff Community School House. Interment will be at Liberty Baptist Cemetery, Gainesboro, Arkansas.
