Gordon Lewis Morgan, 66, of Batesville, died on Monday, February 19, 2024. He was born on April 25, 1957, in Mount Pleasant, TX, to Byrette Lois (Morgan) Hawkins and the late Billy Gene Freeman. He was of Pentecostal faith. Gordon was very artistic, he loved music, especially playing the guitar, and enjoyed drawing. Gordon will be missed by everyone who was blessed to know and love him.  He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Gene Freeman; his wife, Sandra Morgan; his daughter, Alisha Morgan; and his sister, Theresa Morris. He is survived by his mother, Byrette Lois Hawkins; his daughter, Dana Schlarb; his brothers, James Freeman (Patricia), John Freeman, and Clinton Freeman; his sisters, Kay Harris (David) and Jessica Hudson (Herbert); his granddaughters, Skylar, Bailee, and Ava; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. The family will host a celebration of life at Jubilee Church in Batesville on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 1 PM.
