Gloria Ann Ellis Stroud, 87, passed away December 29, 2019 in Atlanta, TX.  A longtime resident of Batesville, AR, she was born on January 26, 1932 in Jonesboro, AR. Gloria was a lover of life as well as all of the people around her. She was passionate about traveling, enjoyed arts and crafts, working in her garden, the outdoors, and she loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren. Gloria will forever be loved and missed by her family, friends, and all that knew her. Gloria was proceeded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, and 1 granddaughter. She is survived by her sister, Marsha Hornbarger, of Michigan; her children, Nova Joyce, of North Carolina; Rebecca (Mike) Bennett of Texas; Marvin Steve of Sacramento, CA; her grandchildren, Gabriel, Hayes, Gentry, Neil, and great-grandchild, Zee Barfoot.

Visitation is at Willis Funeral Service in Batesville, AR, from 12-5 PM January 3, as well as 8-11 AM January 4, 2020. The service will be held at Dowells Chapel Cemetary in Tuckerman, AR, 2 PM Saturday January 4, 2020.
