Gerald Wayne Mason, 80, passed away on January 7, 2024, in Rosie, AR. He was born on September 5, 1943, in Batesville, AR, to the late Lewis Mason and Velma C. (Scribner) Mason. Gerald enjoyed playing guitar, hunting, and fishing. He was an Evangelist, always sharing God's Word and his testimony. Gerald spent the majority of his life alongside his twin brother, Thurl. They owned businesses together and were both enlisted in the US Air Force. Above all else, Gerald loved spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by all those blessed to know him.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Buie) Mason; sons, Tim Mason (Beverly), Robert Mason, Alvin Mason (Rhonda), and Christopher Mason; daughters, Leslie Walker (Dakota), Cindy Griffis (Joe), and Rebecca Mason; grandchildren, Jeremy Mason (Brittany), Andrea Jones (Stuart), Jessica Christopher (Kyle), Kolby Mason, Jarrad Taylor (Somer), Jessan Taylor, Justin Taylor, and Trevor Shrum (Samantha); thirteen great-grandchildren; and brothers, Jerry Mason (Jan), Don Mason (Donna), and Larry Mason. He is preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, Thurl Mason.

There will be a Visitation held at Willis Funeral Service Chapel on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 12 PM to 2 PM. The Funeral Service, officiated by Brother Daniel Stephens, will follow at 2 PM. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Newark, AR. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Randall Crabtree, Randal Davis, Dan Scribner, Brett Scribner, Wes Scribner, and Stephen Williford. Honorary Pallbearers are Clint Scribner and Jonathan Williford.
