George Edwin Anderson, 63, passed away on January 8, 2023. He was born on December 2, 1959, to the late George Sr. and Susan (Singleton) Anderson.

George was strong-willed and had a unique personality. He was a hard-working family man, when he was young he drove a truck for many years before eventually becoming a diesel mechanic. He was an avid wrestling fan who enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on classic cars, and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Melanie (Canaday) Anderson; daughters, Amandia Anderson, Donna Anderson, Natanya Anderson, and Brandie Allen; son, Bobby Anderson; brothers, Frankie Anderson, and Paul Thompson; sister, Susan Mullins; grandchildren, Kaleigh, Dylan, Brooke, Emma, Breanna, Bobby jr., Victor jr., Anastasia, and Rohen; great-grandchildren, Kyngston and Aurora; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shelby (Thompson) Mengerson, Nita (Anderson) George, Jessica (Thompson) Bonnell, Dottie Thompson; brothers, Harvey Thompson and Tom Thompson; and grandson, Brantley.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
