Geneva “Jean” M. (Stroud) Rorex, 87, of Southside, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Geneva was born on January 17, 1939, in Jamestown, AR, to the late Thurl Stroud and Bertha (Richardson) Stroud. She was a Christian and worshiped the Lord as a member of Jamestown Baptist Church. In her spare time, Geneva enjoyed working through puzzle books, but more than anything, she loved her family. She will be dearly missed and forever loved by those who were blessed to know her.

Geneva is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Harold Rorex; and her son, Steve Rorex. She is survived by her three daughters, Cindy Rorex, Betty Richie (Mike), and Tammy Millsap (Eddie); 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
