Gary Wesley Smith, 59, of Salado passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in Salado. He was born August 17, 1955 in Batesville to John Smith and Minnie McCoy Smith. Gary enjoyed coon hunting, deer hunting, fishing and working on cars. Survivors include his wife, Madonna Smith of Salado; two sons, Steve Kelly of Batesville and A.J. Kelly of Newport; three daughters, Stephanie Smith of Batesville, Minnie Smith of Little Rock and Evelyn Smith of Salado; one brother, Johnny H. Smith of Batesville; one sister, Goldie Darnell of Hutchinson Mountain and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Smith. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
