Gail Doreen Whisnant, 75 of Cord passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 in Lonoke. She was born February 20, 1940 in Michigan, to Lorne Gunn and Edna Martin Gunn. She was a Christian and attended the First Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time with her family, laughing and playing with her grandchildren, working in her yard, traveling, solving cross word puzzles, and painting. Survivors include three daughters, Tina Bell of Ward, Kim Sumers of Harrison and Suzette Siegler of Lonoke, ten grandchildren; Blake Siegler, Paige Siegler, Colby Siegler, Benjamin Siegler, McKenzie Siegler, Jeremy Pruett, Justin Holman, Lane Holman, Brady Flannery, Zane Sumers, and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dale Whisnant, a daughter Debi Whisnant Henderson, a grandson Ryan Clark and one sister, Patricia Lutz. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Willis funeral Chapel with pastor Shanner officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Willis Funeral Chapel.
