Fremont Ellis Johnston, 93, passed away Wednesday, November 8th, 2017. He was born February 17th, 1924. He was a businessman who worked selling chicken eggs and jewelry. He had obtained a Master's Degree in Agriculture from the University of Arkansas. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, and his mother, Gertrude Jones; his brother, Raymond Johnston; and one son, Randy Brooks Johnston. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Altha Johnston, one son, Monty Ellis Johnston, four grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, November 11th, 2017 from 12-1 PM at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 2 PM at Kyler Cemetery.
