Frankie Jean Dickens Smith, 76, of Desha passed away June 10th 2016. She was born in Whitsett, Texas. She was a caregiver, hard working woman, entrepreneur, and business owner of Four Season's Florist in Desha for 30 years. She loved design and anything floral design. She was a very talented artist, loved oil paintings, she could make the best potpourri and potpourri pies. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Eunice Dickens; an infant daughter Tammy Jones and an infant sister Gloria Dickens. She is survived by two sons Frank E. Jones and Charles V. Jones; a daughter Ginger Jones Patterson; two brothers Jerry E. Dickens, and Robert N. Dickens; a sister Laura V. Dickens Yates; five grandchildren: Kayla Patterson Reeves, Whitley Patterson, Frankie Jones, Ross Jones, and Mary Jones; two great grandchildren Lillian Reeves and Vivian Reeves; several nieces and nephews, cousins; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be Wednesday June 15th beginning at 10 AM followed by the funeral service at 11 AM both at the Desha Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Alderbrook Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Ricky Hennessey, Ryon Hennessey, Gordon Harmon, Bill Yates, Shawn Dickens, and Scott Elms. Honorary Pallbearers include: Keith Harmon, Vernon Craig, Dloyd Sparks, Luther Reeves, Samuel Milligan, Brad Ives, Billy Joe Patterson, Les Patterson, Bruce Everett and Billy Mann.
