Frank Robert Overbey, 85, of Batesville passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 in Batesville. He was born April 13, 1929 in Chicago, IL to David Overbey and Orvilla Yager Overbey. He was a mechanic and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church. Frank loved to tinker in the yard, carpentry, fishing, and spending lots of time with his family. Survivors include four sons, Ryan Overbey, Joe Overbey, Tim Overbey all of Batesville and Gary Overbey of McDonough, GA; two daughters, Crystal McDoniel of Batesville and Janice Belson of Locust Grove, GA; eight grandchildren, Eric Overbey, Sean Overbey, Sarah Overbey, Hannah Overbey, Aiden Overbey, Cameron McDoniel, Kairi McDoniel Khalisee McDoniel and two great grandchildren, Sean Overbey, Jr. and Christopher Overbey. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Norman Overbey. There will be a private burial at a later date. Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Service of Batesville www.willisfs.com
