Frances Cunningham, 92, passed away Wednesday, June 21st, 2017. She was born May 2nd, 1925 in Lepanto, Arkansas to Sam Tolbert and Susie Pearl (Willis) Tolbert. She was a member of the Newark Southern Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and was very artistic. She liked to cook and to play with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Pearl Tolbert; her husband James H. Cunningham; and two sisters, Montez Bennett and Betty Hodges. She is survived by one daughter Suzanne Cunningham; four sons, Jimmy D. Cunningham and his wife Joy, Danny H. Cunningham and his wife Carolyn, Terry D. Cunningham and his wife Renee, Tommy T. Cunningham and his wife Karen; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, church family, and friends. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, June 23rd, 2017 at 2 PM at the Newark Southern Baptist Church with Bro. Matt Kilgore officiating. Honorary Pallbearers include her grandsons, Tim Cunningham, Mark Cunningham, Brad Cunningham, James Cunningham, Sam Cunningham, and Judd Cunningham. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Ms. Frances Cunningham to the Mountain Meadows Nursing and Rehab Employees Education Scholarship Fund.
