Everett Lloyd Hall Jr., 82, of Batesville, AR, died on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Junior was born on November 20, 1943, in Cushman, AR, to the late Everett Lloyd Hall Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Bunch) Hall. Junior was a man of faith, devoted to the Jehovah’s Witness and was a part of The Kingdom Hall of Batesville congregation. Junior worked for Atlas Asphalt all the way through retirement (over 40 years), and never missed a day of work. His children remember him as the “best dad” and his family will all miss him dearly. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Junior is preceded in death by both of his parents; his brothers, Williard Hall and Johnny Hall; and his sister, Esther King. He is survived by his wife, Celinda Hall; his three sons, Everett Hall III, Edward Hall, and Rodney Hall; his step-children, Tracy Smith, Rick Bouie (Nancy), and Alan Buie; his sister, Jean Campbell; two grandchildren, Ricky Hall and Chelsea Hall; his step-grandson, Chris Buie; 5 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a graveside service at Pleasant Valley Cemetery on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 2 PM. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Ricky Hall, Aiden Hall, John Bunch, Randy Hall, Allen Lindsey, and Jared Bates. The family would like to recognize the following people as honorary pallbearers: Mark Alexander and Tony Scarbrough.
