Ethel Mae Matlock, 81, passed away Sunday, October 29th, 2017. She was a Protestant Christian who made her contributions to Cloverdale Bibleway. She was known as a great cook and enjoyed working with flowers and her rose bushes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ewing and Effie Clouse; her husband, William Matlock; one daughter, Teresa Hoffman; one brother, James Clouse, and one sister, Louise Richardson. She is survived by one son, Steve Matlock; two daughters, Debra Hoffman and her husband David, and Rebecca Box and her husband Shannon; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 31st, 2017 from 6-8 PM at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 1st beginning at 10 AM at the Rejoice Fellowship Church of Cave City with Bro. Jimmy Limbaugh and Bro. George Whirley officiating. Burial will follow at the Cave City Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Daniel Hoffman, John Farmer, J.D. Farmer, Anthony Farmer, Donald Hoffman, and Joel Hoffman. Honorary Pallbearers include, Aaron Hoffman, Joe Hoffman, and Landon Box.
