Erma Lee Brown, 82, passed away Thursday, January 4th, 2018. She was born September 21st, 1935 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was a member of the Sulphur Rock Baptist Church. She was a huge Razorback fan and loved Razorback red. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and word search puzzles. She worked for several years as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. She worked as a Star Carrier from Batesville to Newark and a Rural Carrier for Sulphur Rock. She enjoyed time spent with her family especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster Rawlings and Ruth Driskel; her son, Jackie Smith; and her first husband, Jack Smith.
She is survived by her son, Terry Smith and his wife Mary; four granddaughters, Amanda, Stacy, Jennifer, and Shari; and one grandson, John; several great-grandchildren; and a host of extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9th from 12-1 PM with the funeral service beginning at 1 PM both at the Sulphur Rock Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Mac's Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers include, Larry Hawkins, Ronnie Jenkins, Larry Jones, Randall Cole, and Ron Schultz.
Honorary Pallbearers include, Ellis Wells, Butch Sparks, Bill Yopp, and Bill Qualls.
