Elmer Dale Bible died Sunday, December 27, 2020 in Batesville, AR at the age of 83. Dale was born November 22, 1937 in Alanreed TX to the late John Coleman Bible and Verna Lee (Cornell) Bible. He grew up with five brothers and three sisters. Dale was a man of Christian faith, he enjoyed attending church, he let the way he lived his life be an example of his faith, even going so far as to donate his van to the church for transportation. Dale served his country honorably in the United States Army for 4 years. Afterward, he married his wife Claudean and moved to Batesville. He spent his later years at Woodlawn Heights Nursing Home, where his loving wife still resides. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Dale is preceded in death by both of his parents, his sisters: Irene, Verna, Tiny, and Ruth; his brothers:  Clovis, Jake, Walter, Ray, and Boots. He is survived by his wife Claudean Bible; her daughter Anne Blakely (David); and many nieces and nephews to carry on the Bible family name and bloodline.
