Drewey Edward Nelson, 80, of Batesville, AR, passed away on March 12, 2023. He was born in Cushman, AR, on July 18, 1942, to Hubert Nelson and Eska (Melton) Martin. Drewey was an avid sports fan and spent most of his time watching games on tv. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a collector of sports and Coca-Cola memorabilia. He also enjoyed working in his yard and traveling when he was able.

Drewey is survived by his wife, Dianne (Huskey) Nelson; sons, Todd Nelson (Laura) and Tim Durham; daughters, Debbie Nelson, Kelly Croft (Jeff), and Tiffanie Randolph (Robert); grandchildren, Tara Wilder (Joseph), Kesha Stevenson (Rodney), Jessica Johnson, and Hunter Durham (Kayla); great-grandchildren, Devon Wilder, Elena Wilder, Bethany Stevenson, Drake Stevenson, Teal Stevenson, Brant Stevenson, and Mercy Lyn Childers; sister, Jo Dean Silas; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Bobby Nelson.

There will be a Visitation on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Willis Funeral Service Chapel from 12 PM-2 PM, with a Funeral Service to follow. Interment will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Cushman, AR.
