Dorothy LaVerne Walls, 75, passed on July 28, 2022. She was born on April 3, 1947, in Arkansas to the late Ora J. Davis and Dorothy Faye (Simmons) Davis. Dorothy enjoyed planting, especially tomato bushes and flowers around the trees. She also loved to go to the casino and play slot machines when she was able. She liked to get on Facebook and share quotes with her family and loved making peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies for the neighborhood.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Lee Walls and wife, Natalie; daughter, Ginger Lynn Hicks; brother, Ora J. Davis Jr.; sisters, Jetta (Davis) Gray and Kathryn (Davis) Kirkland and husband, Tommy; and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Joe Thomas Walls and her parents.

There will be a Memorial Service, officiated by Pastor Ricky Harrison, on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at First United Methodist CHurch in Boyd, Texas starting at 3PM.
