Dorothy Lorene Rolling, 91, of Newark, died on Thursday, December 7, 2023. She was born on March 18, 1932, in Bald Knob, AR, to the late Arthur and Gertrude Thompson. Dorothy was of Baptist faith and was a member at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Cord, AR. She liked to garden and do crafts and was a very loving and caring person. She also enjoyed cooking for others and taking care of her family. She will be forever loved and dearly missed by everyone.

Dorothy is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband of more than 50 years, Kenneth Hurley; her brother, Edward Thompson; and her son, Billy Hurley. She is survived by her son Bobby Hurley (Cynthia), of Portland, OR; her daughter, Sandra Wills, of Newark; her sister, Martha Thompson; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
