Donna "Babe" Dowell, 86, of Batesville passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 in Batesville. She was born October 9, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to Donald Bossi and Josephine Broderick Bossi. She was a homemaker and a member of the Chinquapin Church of Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Donna Bailey of Mississippi; two sisters, Loretta Gaither of Batesville and Mary Harmon of Bethesda; three grandchildren, Shannon Branham, Michael Dowell, Toby Melton and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arch "Peck" Dowell; three brothers and one sister. Services will be 12:00 P.M., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Chinquapin Church of Christ in Bethesda with Brian Keller officiating. Interment will be in the Campground Cemetery at Bethesda. Pallbearers are Danny Cole, Steve Morrison, Steve Harmon, Mike Harmon, Shon Branham and Don Harmon.
