Donald Dwine Winkle, 73, passed away on September 23, 2020. He was born on May 6, 1947, in Bethesda, AR.

Donald was a member of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church. He was also an Army Veteran. After the army, Donald started working with the Batesville Water Utilities and stayed until he retired. In his spare time, he loved to work on cars and trade them as well.

Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished by his loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dwine and Margie Winkle, and sister, Linda Mitchell. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Winkle; son, Wesley Winkle (Rebecca); daughter, Sheila Grizzle (Jeff); brother, Mike Winkle; grandchildren, Andy Winkle, Jonathan Grizzle, Jerry Howard II (Emily), Angela Grizzle, and Payton Grizzle; as well as several great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020, at Willis Funeral Service from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service, officiated by Johnathan Baxter, will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at 10 a.m., with the burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. COVID precautions will be in place, and a mask must be worn.
