Dawn Renee Fortune, 65, passed away on December 5, 2023, in Batesville, AR. She was born on October 21, 1958, in Anderson, Indiana to Rex Irwin Goff and Carolyn Jean (Stanley) Goff. Dawn enjoyed sewing, crafting, fishing, and hunting. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Dawn was a good cook and loved caring for her husband. Above all else, she loved her kids, grandkids, and dogs. Dawn was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all those blessed to know her.

Dawn is survived by her husband of thirty years, Jerry Fortune; sons, Brian Keith Elbert II (Chasity) of Elwood, IN, William Charles Breedlove of Arkansas, and Daniel Fortune; daughters, Teia Danee (Elbert) Gentry (TJ) of Anderson, IN, Amanda Dawn (Breedlove) George (Gary) of Newport, AR, Shi-Ann Nicole (Breedlove) Cook (Jack) of Newport, AR; daughter in law, Ladonna Fortune; sisters, Sherry Lynn Zion of Marion, IN, Beverly Joe Swollows of Georgtown, SC, and Janet Sue Meter of Florida; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her special oldest granddaughter, Morgan who cared for her. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; father, Joseph Robert Gustin; stepson, David Fortune; brothers, Fredrick Theodore Gustin and Joseph R. Gustin; and sister, Diana Jo Gustin.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Willis Funeral Service Chapel from 5 PM until 7 PM.
