David Dean May, 71, of Batesville, AR, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. He was born on December 10, 1948, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. David was a loving father, husband, son, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all who loved him.

He was a faithful member of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church, as well as the Bell Masonic Lodge. David was also a professional electronic technician and successful business owner of May Communications, Navy veteran, a member of the Arkansas Auxiliary Law Enforcement, Arkansas Constable of the Liberty Township, and founder of the "I Ran It" scholarship.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elizabeth May; brother, Gerald May; daughter, Tina Hice; and son, Ira Hice. He is survived by his wife, Corliss May; sons, Michael May and Timothy May (Susie); daughter, Laura Hughes (Russell); brothers, Lloyd May and Richard May; as well as six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
