Darrell Dean White, 64, of Batesville, AR, was called to his Heavenly Home on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Darrell was born on July 5, 1962, in Batesville, AR, to the late Elmer F. White and F. Margaret (Neiderbrach) White. He was of the Christian faith. Darrell worked as an auto body repairman for most of his adult life. He worked at Stanley Wood for many years and worked at Gillihan’s Body Shop until he retired in 2022. Darrell enjoyed cookouts (especially cooking on the grill), playing card games, and horseshoes. He was also an avid gardener. Above all, Darrell loved being around friends and family. He was always telling a joke, or playing a prank, anything to make someone laugh. He will be dearly missed and forever loved by those who were blessed to know him.

Darrell is preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife, Terry White; his 4 brothers, Elmer Franklin White Jr., Bobby Dale White, Kenneth Leon White, and Delbert Gene White; two other infant brothers; and his great-niece, Kayle Aldrich. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa White, of Jonesboro, AR; his step-children, Dana Presley, of Bono, AR, April Coleman, of Jonesboro, AR, and Lisa Butler, of Jonesboro, AR; his brother, Dexter White (Linda), of Locust Grove, AR; his sisters, Wanda Aldrich, of Gainesboro, AR, Kathern Fisher, of Cabot, AR, Debra Martinez, of Stamford, TX, Shirley Anderson, of San Antonio, TX, Edie Moss, of Little Rock, AR, and Janie White, of Little Rock, AR; 12 step grandchildren, and 1 step grandchild, Charley K. Hicks, whom he raised, along with one step great-grandchild, Kaisen whom he was also raising.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel from 4 PM until 6 PM. The funeral service, officiated by David Benson, will be held Monday, August 3, 2026, at 10 AM, also at Willis Funeral Service Chapel, with interment immediately following at Liberty Cemetery in Gainesboro, AR. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Wendell Adams, Dixon Moss, Nathan Gillmore, Barry Lillard, Chris Gillihan, Mike Dumais, and Daniel Aldrich. The family would like to recognize Gale Weaver and Glen Waggoner as honorary pallbearers.
