Danny H. Russell of Batesville passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday July 17, 2019 at the age of 63. Danny had a passion for his family and had a true fire in his heart for serving Christ and cherished his relationships with his church family, being a member at West Baptist Church for 15 years. Danny loved the outdoors, hunting, going on long drives, and attending auctions with his friend Sky Clark. Danny was said to be a man of few words, but when he spoke his words carried tremendous weight. Danny is preceded in death by both of his parents H. and Faye Russell, his sister Nancy Russell, and his granddaughter Hayley Winkle. Danny is survived by his wife Phyllis Russell (Sunday July 21 marks their 29th year of marriage), two sons:  Landon (Kim) Russell of Wiener, AR and Aaron (Misty) Russell of Harrisburg, AR, one daughter:  Lisa (Charles) Moser, one brother, Cam (Lana) Russell, and 10 grandchildren: Maggie Russell, Nick Russell, Alex Russell, Abby Russell, Addison Russell, Devin Reed, Jace Grigsby, Cody Richardson, Cameron Richardson, and Makayla Dillion. Arrangements are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville. There will be a visitation Friday July 19 from 1PM to 2PM followed by a 2PM funeral service, both at West Baptist Church in Batesville. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations/offerings be made to West Baptist Church's Missions Fund.
