In Loving Memory of Daniel Vanderpool

January 1, 1960 – May 8, 2025

Daniel Vanderpool passed away on May 8, 2025, at 65. Born on January 1, 1960, Daniel lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.

A true outdoorsman, Daniel found peace in the woods and on the water, spending countless days fishing, hunting, or simply enjoying the world around him with his beloved dog, Sticks, by his side. He never met a stranger and had a unique gift for storytelling, always ready with a tale that could make you laugh, cry, or both. His charisma and warmth made him the life of every gathering.

Above all else, Daniel was a proud father and "PawPaw." He cherished his time with his grandchildren and created lasting memories full of love and fun. Family was everything to him.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Jesse; his mother, Ruth; and his sister, Debbe. He is survived by his four daughters: Marie Acosta of California, Cori Finnie (Billy Finnie) of Batesville, Jessica Smith of Newport, Melanie Martin of Newark

He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Michelle, Tyler, Dylan, Jackson, Connor, Maddie, and Misteri, along with bonus grandkids: Aidan, Kael, Coy M., and Joseph. Daniel is survived by his brothers, Dean (Dana) of Las Vegas and Daryl (Leslie) of California, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Though he is no longer with us, Daniel's stories, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on through all those who knew and loved him.
