Daisy Lois Birdsong Harris, 82, of Batesville passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 in Batesville. She was born January 25, 1932 in Clarkridge to Irvin Birdsong and Arley Dover Birdsong. She was a homemaker and attended Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church. Daisy enjoyed quilting and fishing. Survivors include her husband, Delbert Harris of the home; her daughter, Lois Franks of Batesville; her brother, Billy Ray Birdsong of Birch Tree, MO; two sisters, Julie May Upton of Caulifield, MO and Cora Jean Moody of Batesville; four grandchildren, Michael Franks, Sheri Derrick, Adrian Ford, Donavon Ford; twelve great grandchildren, Summer Reese, Haley Aguliar, Courtney Reese,Cody Franks, Ashley Headstream, Haley Ford, Kyler Franks, Trace Franks, Jesus Ford, Donavon Ford, Jr., Colton Qualls, Tanner Perkey; four great grandchildren, Cristian Aguliar, Zander White, Gabriel White, Brooklyn Marie Ford; and four step-grandchildren, Cheryl Harris, Billy Birdsong, Kathy Harris, and Johnny Harris. She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Grace Kemp and two grandsons, Carl Franks and Chris Franks. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church in Bethesda with Bro. Larry Sellers officiating. Interment will be in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery at Bethesda. Pallbearers are Brett Ruyle, Carlos Aguliar, Andy Denium, Cody Franks, Ted Harris, and Robbie Robertson.
