Cody Lee Patterson, 23, of Batesville passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 in Little Rock. He was born September 29, 1990 in Russellville to Tommy Patterson and Elizabeth Cain. He worked as a tree trimmer and was of the Baptist faith. He loved hunting, fishing, sports and his three month old son. Survivors include his father, Tommy Patterson of Plainview; his step-father, Wayne Holder of Southside; his mother, Elizabeth Cain of Batesville; his fiance', Sativa Wisdom; his son, Bryson Patterson; two sisters, Katie Midkiff of Desha and Emily Gardner of Newark; three nieces, Dani and Madisyn Midkiff of Desha and Makenzee Gardner of Newark; one nephew, Jase Midkiff of Desha and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his sister, Samantha Patterson; grandparents, Arthur D. Cain and Wanda Cain; great grandmother, Mildred Anderson, two aunts, Lilly Phillips and Brenda Cain; three uncles, Earl Cain, Mickey Cain, and Howdy Caine and two great uncles, David Anderson and Daniel Anderson. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Glen Blevins officiating. Interment will be at the Kyler Cemetery in Southside. Pallbearers are Michael Cain, Corey Cain, Matthew Midkiff, Dustin Taylor, Bobby Utley, Mitchell Gardner, Jon Jones, and Taylor Holder. Honorary Pallbearers are Kaden Taylor, Conner Taylor, Lane Holeman, Cameron Martin, Wayne Holder, Jerry Willis, Adam Kershner, Michael Midkiff, Dylan Sallas, David Hites, Kenneth Hedgecoth, Tommy Patterson, John Lewis, and Frankie Holder.
